At The Lime Trees, we’re passionate about creating safe, supportive and engaging environments where children can thrive.
Helping make that happen every day is Faye, one of our Cluster Managers, Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), and our SENCO.
Faye joined The Lime Trees 11 months ago and plays a key role in supporting both our teams and the children and families we work with.
As a Cluster Manager, Faye works closely with a group of our settings, helping managers and practitioners deliver the high standards that families expect from The Lime Trees. Alongside this, she is one of our DSLs, ensuring safeguarding concerns are managed appropriately and that children, families and staff receive the support and guidance they need.
Faye also leads on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the organisation as our SENCO, helping ensure every child feels included, supported and able to reach their full potential.
When asked what inspired her to work with children, Faye shared that it all started with a part-time job as a teenager.
“My first job was working in a little ceramic studio where we ran children’s parties. I found myself completely in my element and knew from that moment I wanted to work in childcare. I haven’t looked back since.”
Despite her leadership role, Faye still loves getting involved in activities with children whenever she visits our settings.
Her favourite?
The playdough station.
“The children always get me helping to create all sorts of things, from monsters to pizzas. Just yesterday I was making ‘raspberry cookies’ and we all ended up with flour on our cheeks after a tough day at the bakery!”
When we asked Faye to describe The Lime Trees in one word, her answer was simple:
Family.
She believes what makes The Lime Trees different is the genuine care shown by every member of the team.
“We are all passionate about making a lasting difference to the children, families and communities we are part of. We want to help transform childcare by providing affordable, flexible and high-quality care for families.”
Thank you, Faye, for everything you do to support our children, families and teams every day.
