We're different to other nurseries and childcare clubs as we have an ingrained focus on quality. We continuously assess our offering through the eyes of parents...
Our owner Gareth Degenhart is a father who set up The Lime Trees out of sheer frustration from his experiences with the childcare settings his daughter attended.
When my daughter reached the age where she was ready to go to nursery, I faced a battle at every stage. From the growing fees which forced me to review my working situation to the lack of flexibility and transparency over when my daughter could attend sessions.
While she was at nursery, I would have loved the opportunity to have popped in to see her and find out what she was learning and how she was progressing. But this was never an option.
I got increasingly frustrated with the lack of communication and spoke to other parents about my situation. To my surprise, I found I wasn't alone and almost every family I knew had experienced similar treatment.
These collective thoughts, fears and disappointments created a drive in me to better the system for families.
I wanted to create a childcare company that treats every family as individuals without sacrificing on quality of service, resources or transparency of communication. So that was where The Lime Trees was born...
We understand that in today's demanding work landscape, parents need the reassurance that their children's care can be flexible without sacrificing on quality or trust. In our nurseries and clubs, we support you in every way we can.
When your child joins us, we offer you complete control over the use of your child's sessions. Just choose which times and dates your child joins us to suit your schedule.
As life rarely goes smoothly, we can be as flexible as you need us to be. If your child is sick or something comes up, just give us a call or send us an email and we can change your slot.
From my experience, most childcare settings very rarely offer parents the chance to experience how their child behaves inside nursery. That's why we have an open door policy that allows you to come and join in with your child's play at anytime.
This gives you the unique opportunity to see how a nursery works while watching your child interact, play and learn with their friends.
Ultimately, we want to make sure you're involved at every stage of your child's sessions at our nurseries and club. For those times when the demands of work get in the way, we can keep you updated remotely on how your child is doing through our secure parent portal at any time of the day or night.
To really focus on the quality of our childcare, we believe in people over profits. That's why we became established as a CIC business.
We reinvest our profits in our resources and staff training to make sure we're in a constant state of improvement. Our CIC status also aligns with our company beliefs of being integrally involved with the community, working with our local area on projects for families.
